Analysis: iGolf

Concept: A realistic-type Golf simulation for the iPod and iPhone that uses the motion sensing technology to recreate your Golf swing.

Pros: Motion Sensing technology is very well-executed and precise. Graphics are appealing.

Cons: Way too simplistic. Only 3 clubs. No wind. Shots only shoot straight. Furthermore, the swinging mechanism is awkward. It requires the user to hit a button on the screen in mid-swing. This leads to some dinky swings as you stop swinging the phone to hit the button. This motion also requires a lot of space to do. The time to play this game is unsure. It can't be done in the car, in a line, or anywhere outside. This seems to be intended for home use. With some many other free games for the PC that are more complete, it's confusing why anyone would get this game except for being a hardcore Golf fan.
